This residential and commercial building – of ten apartments and one commercial unit – is located near Boavista Avenue, which is one of Porto city’s main arteries. The east side of the building is turned into the interior of the block, where reminiscences of the working districts, constructed at the beginning of the XX century, remain. The housing program is developed along two underground floors and four floors above the ground with two apartments each. The apartments have been designed to take advantage of the terrain’s characteristics, presenting two distinct zones that develop unevenly – the social area and the room’s area.
