Portugal's tech scene keeps growing

It’s no secret: Europe’s new tech hubs are emerging in unexpected places, far from the capitals. The next will be born in Santa Maria da Feira, in Portugal, as part of the City’s Hall rehabilitation project. The hub will breathe new life into Visionarium, a science center which has been closed since the first half of 2018.

The exterior, with an aesthetic aligned with Europarque – with whom the hub will maintain strong synergies – leaves you guessing what is inside: an avant-garde space with a strong technological component, supported by innovative solutions.

The business center will comprise five offices prepared to receive large companies in the fields of technology, information, communications, and electronics. The first of these companies is already known: ITCenter, a consulting and software company that develops and supplies communication and security solutions for the Service Provider industry.

Each office will have its own image and personality while sharing a common language with the rest of the building. Sharing is, in fact, the foundation of the whole project and, more than allowed, it’s encouraged.

The lounge area – one of the building’s highlights – will serve all companies, promoting the synergies between them. Located in the iconic dome of the former exhibition center, this space will include conference and meeting rooms, as well as recreation and dining areas.
